Laurel's recipe LO for a cupcake swap

Here is my layout for a cupcake recipe swap I am in.
It is a sugar free cupcake recipe, I did try it and it was good! Cricut'ed the "not" circle and the word sugar on the tag, as well as the cupcake. Ribbon is from Michaels. The background is versamarked with a mini version of our carved cupcake stamp
I'm looking forward to receiving the swap back and seeing all the recipes!

I added this cuz I just started following Scrappy Frog's Challenge blog! Check it out!

Used stamp blog candy!

I was at a stamp rummage and took my used stamps; i did not take the ones not mounted, and rather than putting them back in the mix, I figured I would give away some used stamp blog candy with them.  I have 9 stamps that are unmounted, a couple are on cushion that needs to be peeled off by the lucky winner (shouldn't take much work).  (double click on the pic, I think it will enlarge for you)
No clue who they are made by, but hey it's 9 FREE unmounteds!

There is a watermelon slice, frog wearing clothing, 2 geese, a single goose, another pair of geese with hearts, a snowman, a terydacktyl (sp), a skunk and a child with cats.

I've had these for years, probably got in a stamp trade.

To be in the drawing for the blog candy, just post a comment with your email so if you are the one chosen by the randomizer, I can get in touch with you. Feel free to cross post on your blog or others who promote blog candy.

Will keep this candy open til next sunday, April 5th. Then I'll use a randominzer to pick our blog candy winner for the used unmtds.

NEW ITEMS ADDED: 3 new jars of embossing powder: metallic green; gold glitter and red opaque.
AND 2 new acrylic blocks about 2-1/4" square.

Angelina fibers/cuttlebug tutorial

Here is something I just tried this morning after seeing it on another blog last nite.

I had a piece of the Angelina fibers that i fused together while on the cricut cruise this past
January. Then put it in the Spots and Dots a-2 folder. The same piece of ang
elina now has been cuttlebugged! Another view of it on a piece of
cardstock. Neat eh?

Here is the finished card!

Prayers needed for my Mom and a friend's puppy

Prayers are needed for my 88 yo mom who fell out of her wheelchair at the nursing home last nite and has a doozie of a bruise/bump on her head. She must have leaned forward and landed on her head. she went to the er and ct scan of her head revealed no fractures, no bleeding and her anyurism is stable (its been there for years). Xrays showed nothing broken and she was back in her room about 3 hours after the fall. today she is more alert, still leaning forward so I insisted on a tray table of some sort to be put on, which we think will keep her in the chair. She has alzheimers and dementia and is slowly going down hill anyway. Your prayers would be so greatly appreciated!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Another friend who needs prayers is puppy Roscoe pictured here. He was rescued by Deana, a gal on the Cricut Message board that I frequent and she says this:
"Roscoe is a four month old rescued redbone coonhound that we recently adopted. He had a very rough start in life! We were told Roscoe was attacked by his father after he had already killed four of the other puppies. Roscoe has scars on his hind leg, neck and ear from the attack as well as an umbilical hernia. Roscoe has cherry eye in both eyes that has been treated with steriodal antibiotics, but it didn't help at all. Roscoe is also recovering from a very bad yeast infection in his ears. we've searched and found a vet that will do all Roscoe's surgeries at once for under a thousand dollars and need a bit of help to come up with the rest of the funds! Roscoe is a very fun, loving puppy that just needs a hand up to be the handsome boy we know he can be!"
 Deana, her baby and Roscoe where in a bad car accident last week, all are ok, her car was totaled.  If anyone can donate or send prayers, that would be greatly appreciated. Here is the link to donate to Roscoe. Here is a pic of the dear little guy.
CowTown Stamps is donating a surprise goodie bag and 5 mounted animal stamps of the winners choice from our web page when the donations reach a total of $500 (from those who donate money). There was a winner drawn at $300 and another will be drawn at $400, for some more great stamp/scrap items!
Please if you can help out this little guy, his new mom Deana would be ever so grateful to you!
Chicks and eggs from Mexico!
Our designer Audrey who lives in Mexico, (see her blog here) sent me these lovely yellow cards today. The chicks (stamp is called first walk) on patrol are so sweet marching along the card; and the egg condo! Oh what a great card this is! What bird wouldn't love to nest in our egg birdhouse? Thanks so much Audrey!
Designers working overtime!
Designer Vicki (see her blog here), sent me these 3 cards today: the bear with the egg has a tag that says "imperfections can be sweet"; the cup of flowers reminds us that "aging is not lost youth but found fun!"; and our Japanese rose makes a lovely Mother's day card. Thanks Vicki!
Customer's cards!
Thanks so much to these customers who sent in this card and coasters!
Wendy K. stamped our running deer on wood coasters for their new home's deer decor.
Margie L. stamped our birthday doxie twice, using a reversing technique to get the dog on the left, on this card for her husband.
More new cards!
Here are 4 more cards by our design team of our Easter stamps!
Cards by Denise (see her blog here) are the latest dirt with wheelbarrows; and the stain glass looking chick--first walk--is what its called.
Jeanette (see her blog here) made the enjoy card featuring our wheelbarrow stamp and there are the bunny ears again! They also show up in the funnest places!
Audrey (see her blog here) is our newest design team member. She created the bunny boy and girl card doing the hippity hoppity.
Thanks so much to our creative design team for showing us so many ways that CowTown's stamps can be used! I am always inspired seeing their cards, I hope you are too!
New cards from our Design Team
Here are more cards from our design team using our Easter stamps!
Denise (see her blog here) made the 'when all else fails' and 'I thought I saw...' cards. Stamps used are the calligraphy bunny, our carved egg, and the checkered bunny on the cards. Love the glitter glue on the ask the rabbit card, and that carved egg is showing up on lots of cards!
Jeanette (see her blog here) stamped the bunny stringing popcorn and added flowers with brad centers as lovely accents.
Another Easter card!
Here is an Easter card by designer Audrey (see her blog here). The chick coming out of egg is lovely on this purple card! He almost looks fuzzy!
Thanks Audrey--she sold a card similar to this in her new shop as a customer watched her make it and just had to buy it! Cool!
More new cards!
Here are more cards by Designer Vicki (see her blog here) using our stamps.
Bunnies dancing, aren't they adorable? And our vase with flowers bouquet on the so glad we're friends card (the saying is not ours but from SU) is cuttled with the swiss dots and rhinestones added. The large egg birdhouse is layered over our carved egg stamped as a background layer.
The sunflower basket was a fun surprize for me, as I was wondering what stamp did Vicki stamp the leaves with? LOL those aren't leaves, those are our bunny ears! Awesome idea! See how versatile our stamps can be? Our small sunflower has always been a favorite stamp of mine, and "the latest dirt" is inside when the front flap is lowered. Thanks Vicki!
And the winner of our cuttlebug baby blog candy is...
Miriam! is our winner drawn by the randomizer.
Thank you to both the ladies who entered the blog candy!
More cards!!
We got more cards: Easter and a card/bookmark from a customer!
Customer Kendra (see her blog here) used our doxie alphabet for the bookmark spelling 'Abby'; and word stamp Doxie Love with our doxie kisses dog that is very versatile for any time of the year.
The 2 Easter cards are from Jeanette of our design team (see Jeanette's blog here). She used our bunny ears on top, and kit and kaboodle in the bottom right; this card is also an entry from her into the Rubber Stamp Chat's new vendor sponsored card sketch challenges.  Jeanette's other card uses our carved egg (stamped twice) at bottom and our "first walk" chick in the egg stamp.
Great job ladies! I know designer Jeanette (see Jeanette's blog here) is working on a fun card and designer Audrey is busy with her new Pink Poodle shop in Mexico (see Audrey's blog here).
