Sermon collage 8-7-11

This is my first sermon collage I've completed. I did one a few weeks ago and will try to finish it tonite.
I take notes during pastor's sermon and then collage what I feel the message of his sermon is to me.

This is the whole collage above, I sort of tried to break it into sections, like comic strip-ish, I may end up adding a bit more here or there. I used pieces of our order of worship bulletin, and a bunch of different stamps.

A couple close ups of the different parts of the collage.

I was waiting for the arrival of the " ____" stamp, so I could add things that I didn't or couldn't add by stamping.

Let me know what you think of it!

(Stamp Credits: diamond and bandaid shadow shapes, CowTown Stamps; Jesus walking on water, CowTown Stamps; faith/grace cross, CowTown Stamps; Jesus face, Abracadabra; barbed wire border, ; You're a lifesaver words and lifeguard chair, grow words, ; eyes/take another look, ; large faith word on bottom half of page, SU; "___" stamp, ;

What Laurel did this afternoon

ATC'ss that I made for a small swap. Background and words from Paper Artsy of England; clock stamped on the sparkly paper is from I Brake for Stamps; also added a ribbony yarn and a safety pin on the end of the watch chain. Also used are distress inks, stazon for the shiny paper, and popdots.

Felt like using some of the new stamps I've been buying lately, and the chicks were the first card I made. The words from Art Impressions; large chick with glasses from Gray Wolf Graphics; chicken wire background from our friend Linda at Lost Coast Designs; small chick and footprints from Silver Crow Rubber Stamps. Distress inks, colored pencil and Tombow markers used, and a spot of crystal glitter glue on da glasschickies (that's what our kids called glasses when they were little.)

Customer Carrie used our Amish scene stamp for a birthday card. Looks great Carrie!
Charlotte used one of our doxiestamps, the heart collar dox, for a lovely Valentines day card.

Customer Paulette used our "wanna buy a stamp" cat for this fun and pimped out card!

Here are some recent customer cards! Diane used our cow on moon stamp for this fun card!

Floral cards from our design team

Jeanette of our design team stamped the woman holding butterfly card. (click here to visit her blog)
Stamps: Holding Butterfly and asst of misc unknown stamps for the border
Cardstock: Light Green
Inks: Black and Teal
Colored with Copics

To make the border I made an oval mask and placed on card with removable tape. I stamped around the oval with my asst of stamps. The first stamping is teal and the second layer is stamped in black. I smudged some teal ink around the inside edge of the border. Then removed the mask.

I've only done this technique a couple of times. It's fun and easy to do.
